Kodi 18.6 (Leia) Update
Kodi 18.5 is named as Leia update. Although it’s under beta testing and if you can’t wait for the stable update, you can test Kodi 18.6 Leia (Beta 2) release on Firestick. I’ve been testing this latest update of Kodi on Windows 10 for the last four 7 weeks and haven’t seen any major changes.

In this post, I’m going to write the process of installing Kodi 18.5 on Firestick. So, if you are looking to download Kodi 18 for Firestick then read this post till the end.
How to install Kodi 18.6 on Firestick?
Step-1. Launch Firestick-
Plug all necessary cables and power cables in the socket. Select the HDMI source where Firestick plugged in.
Step-2. Open Settings-
Open Settings on your Firestick device to make some changes. This option can be selected by using your firestick remote left and right button. Use the select button to open the settings option.
Step-3. Select Device-
Scroll side and select the Device option from the list. This option contains developer options and various other options.
Step-4. Select Developers Option-
Here we need to perform some changes. Select Developers Option to do the same. You’ll see ADB debugging and Unknown Sources inside the developer option of firestick setting.
Step-5. Turn ON Apps from Unknown Sources-
Enable ADB Debugging (optional) and Apps From Unknown Sources to allow Firestick device to install any third-party application. By default, this option kept disabling to secure your Android OS from malware and threats.
Step-6. Go back to Firestick Home-
Using your firestick remote back button, go back to firestick home.
Step-7. Select Search option-
Select the search option from your Firestick remote and go to the address bar.
Step-8. Install Downloader-
Type Downloader in the search bar and search. Now, download the first app from the result.
Step-9. Open Downloader-
Just click on the Open button once Downloader is installed or back to Firestick Home> then Apps> scroll down and open Downloader.
Step-10. Type Kodi v18.5 Apk address-
In the URL bar, enter the following address to download Kodi 18.6 apk installation file- https://www.jailbreakfirestick.co/kapk and select Go.
Step-11. Wait for a few seconds-
Once you click Go, a file will start downloading on your Firestick device. Wait till the downloading process is finished. The downloading time will depend upon your internet connection speed.
Step-12. Select Install-
In the next screen, you’ll be asked to install Kodi v18.6 for firestick. Select install to start the installation.
Step-13. Wait for a few seconds-
You’ll see on next screen that, Kodi App is being installed on your Firestick device. Just wait till it finishes.
Step-14. Select Open-
Once the installation process is finished, select Open to launch the Kodi instantly or just go back to Firestick Home> then Apps> open Kodi.
Step-15. Kodi 18.6 (Leia) is installed
Boom, here you can see the new logo of Kodi 18.6 (Leia) on your TV screen. Now, enjoy Kodi 18 on Firestick by installing some good addons.

Highly “augmented” APK file, be careful. The official RC3 is almost 2 times smaller
